Voice Control

The Voice Control system allows you to command your IoT devices using voice input. Voice commands are converted into messages and sent through the topic dash_177xxxxxxxxxx. Your devices receive these messages and perform the requested actions such as toggling relays or adjusting settings.

How It Works

  1. Create an account if you are a new user, or sign in if you already have an account.
  2. Create a new panel.
  3. Add widgets to the panel.
  4. Save the panel after adding widgets.
  5. Connect your hardware devices with the respective dashboard topic ID; values will be transmitted and displayed in the widgets.

Before You Start

Connect your voice assistant or speech-to-text system to the same cloud as KiwisIoT.

Your firmware must subscribe to dash_177xxxxxxxxxx and correctly handle incoming voice command messages.

  • ★ Keep command phrases short and distinct to avoid mis-triggers.
  • ★ Use the Lock or confirmation step for critical actions like locking doors.
  • ★ Test voice-to-command flow in the dashboard before wiring to hardware.
