Energy Monitoring
The Energy Monitoring system tracks power usage, solar generation, battery levels, and overall energy consumption in real time. Voltage, current, power (W), and energy (kWh) data are sent through the panel topic dash_177xxxxxxxxxx. Dashboards display gauges and a status label so you can quickly monitor usage and alerts.

How It Works
- Create an account if you are a new user, or sign in if you already have an account.
- Create a new panel.
- Add widgets to the panel.
- Save the panel after adding widgets.
- Connect your hardware devices with the respective dashboard topic ID; values will be transmitted and displayed in the widgets.
What you can track
Power (W)Real-time power draw or generation.
VoltageAC/DC voltage reading.
CurrentCurrent in amps.
Energy (kWh)Cumulative energy or daily total.
Status displayAlerts and overall status.
Before You Start
Connect your energy meter or sensors to the same cloud as KiwisIoT.
Your firmware must publish energy data to dash_177xxxxxxxxxx in a structured format such as JSON.
Create a dashboard panel and link your widgets to the same topic to visualize readings and status. For setup guidance, refer to the documentation or contact support.
Tips
- ★ Use channel IDs 0–4 for Power, Voltage, Current, Energy, and Status Display in the default panel.
- ★ Calibrate CT clamps and voltage dividers for accurate readings.
- ★ Set alert thresholds for overload or low battery and show them in Status Display.
